More Than Half of Binny’s Beverage Depot Fans Surveyed Want Re-order App… And a Note About Green Beer!

St. Patrick’s Day is here! Time to drink green beer and other emerald-colored cocktails. For the life of me, I couldn’t remember why the holiday had turned into an excuse to imbibe, so I did some quick research. St. Patrick’s Day celebrates the patron saint of Ireland with parades, parties and the wearing of anything green. St. Patrick’s Day is observed as a Christian feast day, so Lenten restrictions are lifted—hence the reason for indulgence. Just as St. Patrick’s Day has evolved over the years, so has our ability to order all things related to the holiday online—including alcohol.

If you live in the Chicagoland area, you likely have purchased beer and booze from one of Binny’s Beverage Depot’s 30 locations in Illinois or from its online store. But what if you could re-order your favorite Binny’s necessities in 10 seconds or less using your iPhone? More than half of the survey respondents of a recent poll loved the idea.

GimmeAnother polled a randomized group of consumers (by age group) about their mobile shopping habits. Of those respondents ages 25 to 34 who order Binny’s products online, 50.6% said they would choose to use a re-order button on their iPhone—if they could. Of those ages 55 to 64, 56.2% said they’d like a re-order button. And of those respondents ages 65 and up, 54.1% said they’d use the iPhone method.

GimmeAnother is working hard to add retailers like Binny’s to its growing list of clients.
